Greetings Families!
We made it to the end of the 2019-2020 school year. It is difficult to think about where we have been for the past three months. I recall having an emergency staff meeting on the afternoon on Thursday, March 12th to inform everyone that Montgomery County schools would be closed for a period of two weeks. Three months later, we were still involved in distance learning. From the first phase of enrichment through the integration of LM Learns!, we made it through successfully. Not everything was perfect but I believe that families, staff and administration put forth our best efforts.
We are already beginning to plan for the opening of the 2020-2021 school year, paying attention to the guidance by state and health officials. In the meantime be safe and healthy and enjoy the summer months.
Thank you,
Mr. William J. Miles, Principal

The LMHS staff and LMHS Health and Physical Education students walked, ran and biked over 7,142 miles while participating in the @charitymiles app usage for PE choice board workouts during distance learning.
These miles helped raise money for charities including
Autism Speaks, American Cancer Society, Wounded Warrior Project, ASPCA, March of Dimes, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Feeding America, Charity Water, Habitat for Humanity, Save the Children, American Diabetes Association, Michael J. Fox Association for Parkinson’s Research, Alzheimer’s Association and many more!! Helping others is an incredible feeling! Thank you to all who were involved!
Please continue to support these causes with your #summerwellness ️
Math Department
With finals looking a bit different this year, we wanted to share some of the awesome and creative work done by Ms. McInerney's Pre-Calculus students. Students were given the task to analyze, describe, and name polynomial and rational functions through the use of #MathSnaps. Below are two examples of beautifully done #MathSnaps. The first graph, "Polynomial Function #2", was created by Christina Martinos and Gianna Simone. The second graph, "Rational Function #1" was created by Francesca Friedman and Aryn Chartock. Great job by all of you! :)
Community Involvement-Students
LMHS Juniors, Aryn Chartock and Francesca Friedman, have been raising funds to help give back to night-shift healthcare workers. Our healthcare workers have been working tirelessly 24/7 and the community has noticed! So many people have been sending food to day-shift healthcare workers but the night-shift has been overlooked. So far, Aryn and Francesca have taken pizzas and cookies to night-shift workers at Abington Hospital, Holy Redeemer, Doylestown Hospital, Moss Rehab Center, CHOP and Penn. They will continue to donate as long as they can! If you would like to donate to their efforts, please email nyrajoy2003@gmail.com or Francesca.friedman@gmail.com.
