Michelin Technical Scholars
What is a Michelin Scholar?
Michelin Scholars enroll in the Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) major or Mechatronics major at Midlands Technical College. The scholarship covers the cost of tuition, fees, and books. Michelin Scholars also participate in a paid co-op program reinforcing their classroom knowledge by working part-time in a Michelin manufacturing facility.
Good candidates for this program are students with strong math, science, and reading comprehension skills who are enrolled in Industrial Electronics Technology, Mechatronics Technology, or General Engineering/IT Technology programs.
