WE TEACH & MODEL CHARACTER EDUCATION AT CMS
Character Education for October is Compassion & Tolerance
Compassion is the act of trying to understand how other people feel during difficult times and trying to reach out and help that person in some way. It is easy to dismiss the feeling of others if we don’t take time to consider what they are experiencing, but it is not the right thing to do. Everyone benefits when we are all compassionate.
Tolerance is the willingness to tolerate an opinion or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with.
“Tolerance is the ability to forgive those who tend to speak before thinking.”
-Catherine Pulsifer

every day, in everything
I do for my entire life!
What I get out of each thing I do will
equal the attitude I have when I do it!
My attitude is the way I think!
My attitude is like a magnet!
My attitude is the most
important thing about me!
I will develop a positive attitude by
refusing defeat and making the most of what I have!
With a positive attitude, I can do ANYTHING!
