Wildcat Weekly 11/13-11/17
Proud Principal of Pomerado Elementary School
We hope everyone had an enjoyable long weekend! Parent-Teacher conferences are this week and the school schedule is different to allow time for our teachers to meet with each family. We look forward to seeing all of our Wildcat families at conferences.
Thank you to our incredible PAWs team for volunteering their time to host chalk art and music for our students during recess this week! The blacktop has a fun and colorful spirit from this fun activity.
We hit another big Wildcat Run fundraising goal so this Friday, 11/17, will be a school-wide pajama day. Please make sure pajamas are school appropriate. :)

In addition to Engagement policies, Title 1 schools also develop a compact, or 3-way pledge, between teachers, students, and parents/families. The 3-way pledge is also an integral part of being a No Excuses University school. In the pledge, students, parents, and teachers all make specific commits to promote student success. Teachers discuss the pledge with students at school and with parents during parent-teacher conferences.

Wildcat Run
Our fundraising for the first ever Wildcat run on November 28th is going strong! The students have met three big goals and already had chalk art and music at recess and lunch.
This Friday the 17th, they will be able to wear pajamas to school!
We still need students to register for the run and share with their family and friends! Remember all money raised will support our school's enrichment programs and activities for the entire year!
Ice Cream Sales
This Friday Nov. 17th, will be the last day of ice cream sales until spring. Don't forget to have your student/s pack their extra ice cream money!
PAWs Meeting
Save the date: Next PAWs meeting will be in person on 12/13/2023 at 6:30 pm.
