C.E. King High School

From the Principal's Office!

Spring has sprung!

Well KHS...spring break has come to an end. I certainly hope you have enjoyed this time with your family and friends. As you know, we are entering testing season starting with English next week. As we get closer, we should all make every effort to keep students in the classroom. Academic Interventions are the priority right now. Let's be proactive in dealing with students. Remember, check for dress code, target inappropriate behaviors and make sure all classroom time is productive. What we all know is that when there is significant downtime, the likelihood of classroom issues increases. Have a great week KHS!

Information Station

1. There will be a campus meeting on Monday after school. Everyone is expected to be present. Mrs. Holt will be covering logistics and testing information. The meeting will take an hour.

2. There will be a pep rally during SMART lunch on Thursday for our soccer teams. Depending on the size of the crowd, some of you will be asked to move duty locations for the 2nd half of lunch.

3. There will be no school on Friday in observance of Good Friday.

4. We are entering the last 9 weeks of school. Student behavior typically becomes even more challenging at this time of year. It is imperative you are on duty and visible in the hallways. Remember, no one out of the classroom the 1st and last 15 minutes. Do not send students out of class to the restroom before the tardy bell.

5. Your attendance matters!!! Be present everyday...our children deserve it!
