Thank You - From Ms. Cunningham
Thank you for your vigilance and efforts over the past two weeks. While we have had an overall smooth start to the school year, I know the recent potential threats to school safety has been tough on us all. While I am crossing my fingers that these incidents are now behind us, I want to remind everyone to stay cognizant of the fact that our first responsibility is to ensure for the safety of our students.
Food Friday - Action Required Today if Participating Tomorrow
A DH tradition is Food Friday - we're fortunate to have a bunch of restaurants in our area, and this is a delicious way of supporting our community. The Friday after payday, we select a restaurant to place a mass order. The food can be picked up during your lunch in the Main Office.
Friday's restaurant is Fortune Cookie.
Please place your order using this Google Doc by Thursday at 4pm. You'll then pay Ms. Huffman by 9am Friday.

ISS Daily Student Listing
A request from yesterday’s CLG was to provide a listing of the next day’s students assigned to In School Suspension the afternoon before. Ms. Ford has agreed to begin sending the list immediately. Please email her if you did not receive her email from yesterday.
Please note that the list may not be exhaustive – if that is the case, Ms. Ford will send a revised listing in the morning.
It is extremely important that you review the listing DAILY to determine if any of your students will be serving ISS. Do not assume your classes do not have students eligible for suspensions – ISS is earned for a variety of reasons. If you have a student in ISS, please send work to the ISS room (or email Ms. Portia Houze) as quickly as possible.
Note: We reverted from the above method two years ago because teachers were not sending work to the ISS room. As a result, I began sending more tailored messages the day of suspension. I am happy to have one less email to create; however, the responsibility falls back to you to ensure our students have access to work missed during suspension in a timely fashion.
