28 FHHS Student-Athletes Sign On National Signing Day

Congratulations to the 28 student-athletes that signed to further their education and playing careers at the college level on Wednesday. The 28 student-athletes not only have had success in their sport but also in the classroom where the 28 hold a cumulative GPA of 3.4 and nearly a 98% attendance rate. 56 FHHS DECA Members Qualify For State

Students of the Francis Howell High School Chapter of Missouri DECA: An Association of Marketing Students joined over 720 high school marketing students at the annual District career development conference held February 3, 2016 at the St. Louis Outlet Mall. 56 FHHS students received recognition of individual ability and achievement at the District Competition. This is the highest number of students that FHHS has had qualify for State in school history. Below are the students that have qualified:

These students will advance to state level competition at the State DECA Career Development Conference that will be held March 13-15 at the Lodge of the Four Seasons, Ozarks.


DECA competitive events are designed to contribute to the development of competencies needed for careers in marketing, management and merchandising, to motivate students to assume responsibility for self-improvement and self-discipline, to assist students in acquiring a realistic self-concept through individual and group activities and to provide visibility for the educational goals and objectives of marketing education.


DECA is the only international organization specifically designed to reinforce the occupational competencies of high school students who wish to pursue a career in marketing, merchandising or management. Over 180,000 students from the United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands are involved in this organization.

FHHS Yearbook Receives CSPA Recognition

Congratulations to the FHHS Yearbook Staff and Ms. Dunaway. The FHHS Yearbook took second place in "Cover Design" for Emily Aiken. The "Endsheet Design" received Honorable Mention with Maddie Villeneuve and Lexi Farran. Congratulations to the yearbook staff on a great accomplishment.

Spring Meet The Coaches Scheduled For February 17th

On Wednesday, February 17th the spring "Meet the Coaches" night will be held in the FHHS Commons. All spring student-athletes and parents are required to attend this meeting. Student-athletes should turn in all eligibility paperwork during this time. All completed paperwork must be turned in by February 26th at noon to ensure participation when spring sports begin. All freshman, juniors, and new students to FHSD in baseball, volleyball, girls lacrosse, and girls soccer must have an updated Impact test completed to participate. Impact testing dates can be found below as well as the schedule for the Meet the Coaches night:

6:00-6:20 pm - Presentation By Activities Director Sean Erwin (Only those that did not attend the fall or winter Meet the Coaches need to attend this portion)

6:20-6:45 pm - Team Breakout Sessions (All spring student-athletes must attend)
