The Week of 5/2-5/6

Math PARCC will take place Monday 5/2-Thursday 5/5

Tips for preparing your child for PARCC testing:

*Encourage them to have a restful evening prior to the day of the test, including a good night's rest. There will be minimal homework this week so that students can relax once they return from school each day.

*Please provide your child with two snacks each day, one of which they can eat immediately before testing begins.

*Remind your child to relax and remember....it is ONLY A TEST, and we are already very proud of their accomplishments this year!

Coming Up This Week:

Reading- Students will continue to explore the genre of nonfiction independently and with partners, as well as track information as they read.

Writing- We will complete our "How to" writing activity.

Math- We will participate in PARCC testing and fun fraction activities (crafts and projects).

Social Studies- Our Midwest region assessment will be on Friday 5/6. Review sheets will go home at the beginning of the week.
