Mardi Gras on Fat Tuesday!
Are you ready for the party of the year? There are a lot of things happening and some the details are below.
As you know, this is the second large fundraiser for Santo Nino for the school year, the next is the upcoming golf tournament. This year, we still are in need of raising $81,000 for the school year, but with other plans in the works (which includes a golf tournament), we are hoping to raise $56,000 (profit) from Mardi Gras. We are well on our way, but we still need quite a bit of help. Mainly, just by people being there! We have been able to reduce expenses and through generous donations all those expenses have been covered! So all funds raised going forward goes directly to the school.
We have the whole convention center and with the purchase of your ticket, parking is included. There is a great band playing various music and fantastic food catered by Cowgirls. YUM! Tickets are $75/person or $550/table (8 people per table). That really is a great bargain considering all the entertainment that you receive. Not only the food and live band, but face painting, funny fortune tellers, and truly just a fun festive atmosphere. So, come, enjoy a fantastic evening with all your friends at Santo Nino's Mardi Gras!
Raffle? Motorcycle? Trip? Jewlery?
There are still plenty of tickets left for the raffle. You can win a BMW motorcycle, a trip to New Orleans or Jewelry! Tickets are $50 each and you do not need to be present to win.
Remember, if you sell 50 or more tickets, you can win 50% tuition for a student for the 19/20 school year. If you still need to meet your family fundraising goal, this is also a great way to do that! We are only selling 500 tickets, so get out there and get to selling (or buying)!

Other entertainment and games
We will have facepainters that can help you get in the Mardi Gras mood. A "FUN" fortune teller that we predict will make you laugh. We even heard something about a unicycle. How about that?!
There is a type of wine pull, grub grab (win gift certificates to restaurants), and lots of beautiful decorations. We will also have a coffee bar with Cafe Du Monde Coffee and Chickory (a classic New Orleans Coffee) brewed and served by our favorite next door seminarian, Jordan.
