Our Vision: Every Student a Success!

Our Mission

The staff of Rosa Parks/Millbrook in collaboration with parents and community, will pursue excellence as we walk in our purpose to develop the whole child, academically and socially, and ensure that all students take responsibility for their learning and reach self-sustaining success.

RPM Family

Believe it or not we have only two more weeks of school. We have completed a long, arduous year that at times, we really didn't know how we were going to make it through. In my 25 years in education, I have never experienced a year such as this. Although it has been a difficult one, our students, teachers, staff, and parents have remained Resilient, Persistent, and Mindful to keep working through the many challenges of the year. Now we want everyone to finish strong. Final report card grades are due Thursday, May 27, so please make sure your child has completed and submitted all assignments no later than Wednesday, May 26. Thank you for all of your support while we continue the work of building futures for a lifetime, not just a few years.

Your Parks Principal,

Mrs. Yvonne Thornton

Social Emotional Learning Survey

As part of our Vision 2025 work in LancasterISD, we are surveying students and parents in regards to social and emotional learning and development needs. This information will be used to help us plan social and emotional learning for the future. Please click the link that follows or the Move This World image to complete a short survey that will help us with this important step in planning.

Help to Replenish our Library

We are conducting an inventory of our library as part of our end of year practices. Last year we did not have the opportunity to collect library books before school shut down. We need your help. Please help your child to look for any library books they may still have from last year. If you have any please send them back to campus so we can restock our shelves. No fees or fines are attached. We want to be sure that all students have access to books when they return to school next year. Thank you in advance.

Building Children, Character, and Community Everyday

“A hundred years from now it will not matter, what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove; but the world would be different because I was important in the life of a child.”
