FROM THE HEADS OF SIXTH FORM
Dear Parents,
As we enter the final period of revision before the exams start we wish the students 'Good Luck'. In this Friday's assembly Dr Meek gave a presentation about examination protocol and expectations. She will be sending you an email with a summary of these arrangements so that you can support your son or daughter during this period.

SWIMARATHON AWARDS CEREMONY
On Friday 29 April Teresa May (our MP and Home Secretary) along with the Mayor of Maidenhead presented cheques to the various organisations that had participated in the Lions Club of Maidenhead swimarathon last january. Our school was the proud recipient of 2 cheques.
The Sixth Form had entered a Year 12 and a Year 13 team, and between them they raised an astonishing £838.60. Flora Gault and Shannon Turroturro received the cheque from Teresa May on the Sixth Form's behalf at the Awards Ceremony. Half of this money will be used by the Lions Club towards their local charitable projects and half will be donated to Food Share Maidenhead- the charity currently supported by our Sixth Form students.
The Junior and Senior girls teams from Claires Court entered 4 teams and raised £513.63 for Lions Club and Claires Court 3 for 3 charities. Their cheque was presented to Rhiannon Thomas, Maddy Sparks, Kally Mudge and Chloe Coghlan.
In addition, at the ceremony, Claires Court was presented with a bonus cheque of £200 to donate to the charity of their choice.
Many congratulations and thanks to all the pupils who participated in the swimming, raised sponsorship or who sponsored or cheered on friends. This was a wonderful example of Claires Court participating in our local community and it is great that local charities will benefit from the money we raised.
Ann Burdett, Coordinator.
