Weekly Update for LCMS Staff

By Tami Gunset

Staff

Mr. Bryant will be here on Tuesday to visit with the staff about a new implementation for a Security App, called IAN. The IAN App will allow you to send an alert to staff if there is an active shooter on campus or a section of the building on fire. Mr. Bryant will go over the specifics of IAN. Each of you should be receiving an email or text or maybe both, so please set up your account. It is very possible that the email will go to your Xeams / Spam folder. Please make sure and check these prior to coming and have your App installed on your device (below is a picture of the IAN app and what it looks like once it is installed). We do not want this to be a long process and being prepared and ready will allow you more time to plan and work on other things. Once you have this installed on your device please do not play with this app, it will be a live app that will alert the Law Enforcement and district wide administration.
