Team Update

Fall is coming and so are the holidays!

Welcome to the beginning of the Holiday season!

Already? I was in Garden Ridge a few weeks ago and couldn't believe all the Christmas decorations that were out! Pine cones, Tree ornaments and even bright pink Christmas trees! It got me to thinking... It's time to shop for the holidays. Which means, I need to make sure people know my Stella & Dot business is open too! Over these next few months, people will be shopping for deals and hiding their gifts for loved ones until the big day. Want to earn some extra cash to spend this season? Start posting your business on your social media sites and let your friends and family know that you are the first choice for their shopping needs! Tell them to book a trunk show and get their jewels free, they can give away what they earned and save hundreds themselves!

Missed Bootcamp training? Want to see the holiday collection?

My latest testimony...What?? No order forms!?!

I was soooo excited for my trunk show on Saturday that I packed everything in advance on Thursday and re-arranged my jewelry trays so all I had to do was unpack, straighten and watch everyone go crazy for the jewels! Then... I started setting up my check out area and "WHAT?????!!!, NO ORDER FORMS??" Since I only live 5 miles away, I thought, "Ok, I can jump in my car & go get them!" BUT Oh no, guest are arriving! "Well, maybe I could get my husband to bring them to me..." I thought. Then I remembered, "I have Dottie"!

I ordered my card reader on Monday, it arrived just in time for my show and even though I've never used it, there is no better time like the present to learn. IT WAS THE BEST INVESTMENT EVER!! I plugged Dottie into my Ipad, swiped my customers card and the order was placed literally in seconds! What?? No time consuming order data entry when I get home? Count me in! Swipe after swipe, I watched how easy my business was moving and how fast check out was!

At one point my card reader couldn't read the card swiped BUT I was able to enter the card information in manually and I wanted to cry!! This is the best idea ever. I highly suggest spending the $24 to get a card reader. If you're not a techie, don't worry! This is by far the easiest form of payment ever to use. The customer gets their receipt via email and they loved how quick, convenient & safe it was NOT having their card number written down. I do suggest bringing order forms JUST INCASE your Ipad or dottie isn't working properly. Way to Go Dottie!

Meet your newest team member, Robyn Hollner!

Robyn is a wife, mom of two, fashion consultant, make-up artist and now she's added Stella & Dot stylist to her repertoire! Robyn held her launch this weekend and she is focused on rocking out her jumpstart to get more free jewelry! Ladies, welcome to Robyn to our team, I know she is going to love it here! Xoxo.

Has your business stalled?

Is your business stagnant? Not enough time to have a show or send an email about your business? It's time to incorporate Stella & Dot into your day! Going to the doctors office? Take a couple of catalogs and leave them in the waiting area. Going out to dinner? Take a mini look book and give it to the host at the restaurant! Compliment her style, give her a mini look book and tell her you'll give her the items she loves for free! Call your girlfriends and invite them to shop with you at YOUR store this holiday season! Remember, as the stylist you get 2 shows that you can host a year. Just ask for the trunk show! When they say "No", it's okay!! You're still alive. Don't take it personal. Ask for the referral & when their friend shops, you'll send them something special as a Thank you. Keep moving. Don't quit.

“You must make a decision that you are going to move on. It wont happen automatically. You will have to rise up and say, ‘I don’t care how hard this is, I don’t care how disappointed I am, I’m not going to let this get the best of me. I’m moving on with my life.”
Joel Osteen,

I believe in you. Xoxo, Tosha
