Office Hours: M-T 8 am-5 pm, F 8 am-12 pm.
Camp time will be spent learning songs, choreography, blocking as well as working behind the scenes on props and set design. Campers will also learn about being a good performer, stage presence, improved confidence along with other theatrical skills. All kids are welcome; experienced performers and kids new to theatre alike!
About Disney’s The Lion King Jr.: The African savannah comes to life on stage with Simba, Rafiki, Timon, Pumbaa and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle...and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale. With fun costumes and familiar songs campers are sure to have a great time!
This is a two-week daily camp; attendance for both weeks is required. Campers may be responsible for partial costumes upon director request. Campers will perform Disney’s The Lion King Jr. on Friday, June 29 matinee (1 pm) and evening (7 pm.) An extra rehearsal is scheduled for Thursday, June 28 from 4:00-9:00 pm after camp.
Camp Fee: $299

Camp Schedule: Monday-Friday 9 am-4 pm at Lee’s Summit West High School
Exceptions:
Thursday, June 28: 9 am-9 pm, dinner provided. Dress rehearsal after camp.
Friday, June 29: 9 am-9 pm, dinner provided. Matinee and evening performance.

NO electronics/toys usage allowed during camp hours. This includes but is not limited to: cell phones, ipads (or the like), fidget spinners, Pokemon cards, bouncy balls, etc.

Tickets will be sold to the camp performances of Disney’s The Lion King Jr. Ticket purchasing information will be provided at a later time. Two free tickets will be given to each camper as a part of their camp fee.
Disney’s The Lion King Jr. is presented through special arrangement with Musical Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also provided by MTI www.mtishows.com.
