As the end of the year approaches, please verify that your address and telephone information are up to date. Employees with portal access can make any necessary changes by accessing their account, selecting the About Me tab and choosing Name/Contact Changes.

DDA Reviews

Your grade level is allowed to review DDAs and offer feedback. Please contact Christy LeMaster, SIT members, if your grade level would like to review the DDAs for that grade level and offer feedback.

Literacy Updates

Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition: Please select one piece of writing to submit to this competition. The selection can be any genre. Please place a post-it note on top of the piece with the student's name and teacher name. Pieces are due in no later than Thursday, January 8th to Jennifer Dalton.

Personal Leave Requests

As you know, personal leave requests are not approved in December. Covering classes with subs has been more challenging this year than ever before. This is just a friendly reminder that personal leave requests are not approved in December due to the difficulty in covering classes. If you believe you have a "once in a lifetime event" or an extenuating circumstance that would require personal leave, talk with Cindy.

CQI

We will not have CQI Team Time during the week of December 8-12 due to DDAs. No coverage for CQI planning will be needed on Friday, December 5 or on Friday, December 19. We will need CQI planning coverage on Friday, December 12.

Grazing Day

Mark your calendars, wear your eating britches and bring your appetite for a wonderful day of grazing on December 15!

Class Winter Parties

ALL winter parties will be held on December 19. Parties should last no longer than an hour. This helps with traffic and parking on this day so we appreciate your help. Remember, it is a class party and not a major "event." If you are going to have special needs, be sure to complete an events form and turn it in to Mia Latimore.

The front gates will be locked on December 19 with so much foot traffic coming and going. We want everyone to be safe. so be sure parents are aware. We will post in the Peek as well. Don't forget…ALL parties must end by 2:00.

Grades 1 and 3 between 9:00 and 10:30

Grade 4 between 10:00 and 11:45

Grade 2 between 10:45 and 12:30

We need for all staff to complete this survey. This includes teachers, paras, office, administrators, Head Custodian and Cafe Manager.

Please take a moment to click the link below to complete the survey if you have not already. Be careful on the ratings as the items can shift in a way that make you look at the ratings differently. That will make sense once you complete the survey. Just be sure to read the items and choices carefully.
