Shooting Sports Instructor Training
There is an instructor training being held in Lincoln at the Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center on February 13 and 14.
- The registration deadline for the event is February 2nd and the fee $100 which includes meals, supplies and program materials.
- Volunteers will have the opportunity to become certified as an adult (21 years and older) or apprentice (14-20 years old) leader.
- Four project ares will be offered: rifle, pistol, muzzle-loading and archery.

Youth Advisory Board Application
Applications for the Youth Advisory Board are now being accepted! The deadline is January 15th. This advisory board is involved PASE and Life Challenge. Complete details and application can be found on our website under scholarships and applications.
UNL Mock Livestock Judging Contest
UNL is hosting a mock livestock judging contest on Sunday, January 10th. Youth who attend will get to experience a high quality contest and will have the opportunity for a worthwhile experience. The cost is $5 per contestant. Entries need to be submitted by January 1st. The registration for can be found on the livestock page of our website. For questions contact the Office.

In addition to the Public Speaking Contest held each spring, the Presentations Contest that is held during county fair provides yet another great opportunity for 4-Hers to practice public speaking skills... this time using a "show and tell" format. Presentations may be related to any 4-H topic and vary in length based on age. To help us better plan for this year's event, please vote below!
