PACK tutoring is available to all interested students on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4pm in the Library. Teachers and peer tutors will be available to assist students with homework and assignments, and the Library will be available as a space for students to study. Students who normally take the bus to and from school will be able to take a late bus at 4pm on PACK days.

Upcoming Event for Heart Screening

MVHS is partnering with the Eric Paredes Save a Life Foundation to bring free heart screening to our campus for all youth ages 12-25. This is an effort to help prevent Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), which is a leading cause of death for youth under 25 years of age, particularly for student-athletes. The Eric Paredes Save a Life Foundation has provided over 31,000 free heart screenings for youth in the San Diego area, and about 1 in 300 students have been found to be at risk from an undetected abnormality or risk factor.

The free heart screening event will be held at Mission Vista High School on February 9th, from 9am-2pm. All youth from the MVHS and surrounding communities are invited to come.
