Living History - Thank You!
Our Living History Museum was a huge success and I was so proud of each student in our class! They did an amazing job and I appreciate each family's support in helping them prepare!
The videos came out amazing also and I can't wait for you to see them at Open House and then I will make sure you have a digital copy. We all learned a new skill using the green screen effect to add more details to their project.

You can still order a 2015-16 hardbound yearbook online for $25 through May 31. After that, it’s $30 cash on-site available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Students who have passed level 14 may still work in Lexia at home and when a device is available in class and will earn dojo points for their work, but I won't require the minutes as I do with those who still have goal minutes.
You can check to see if they are meeting their goals by having them log in to check. It is on the home screen each time they log in.
Please read some of our posts and add comments. Our kids love reading feedback, especially positive, specific feedback.
We started with our BYOD devices last week and will continue through June 3rd. (The week of June 6th -June 10th is our testing week so we will have our chromebooks back and we won't be needing the extra devices that week.)
It's definitely a learning curve to see which programs work with which devices and what we need. Currently, to access our files in classroom, we need to have Google Classroom, Drive, Docs, and Slides installed. To do Lexia we need the Lexia app.
Thanks for your help with that.
3rd Grade State Testing - Week of June 6th-10th
In class, we will continue to learn and practice the standards required for 3rd grade.
If you have some time, please go to the testing Practice site. Click Here
Click on "Go to the Tests". There is no login needed for the practice tests, just leave it a Guest in all blanks. Try a few problems to see what they are like and have your child try some too. Discuss what they could do to help solve the problem.
I have the scoring guides for the practice tests so you can check student's practice work. Go to http://sbac.portal.airast.org/practice-test/resources/#scoring.
