Haiti Earthquake
An earthquake hit on the 12 of January 2010. Nobody was expecting it, which made it worse. Many people died, with no help, 52 after shocks in just about 1-2 weeks. This horrible event still leaves marks in this world that bring the Haiti people terrified.
Food and Water
It was a struggle to get food and water and medical care. The foreign missionaries and aid workers were trapped in the country's capital, so the people in Haiti didn't have or couldn't get food for 3 or 4 days after the earthquake. When helicopters came with aid the people were going crazy and were fighting over aid.
Energy
Haiti has today solar energy. It helps today to save money to help parts still today from the earthquake. I'm not sure what they used to use before, but now the us solar, or must people.
Ecosystems
316,000 people died in the earthqauke.before the earthqauke the population was almost 9 million but after the earthquake it was 8.5 million. they had no food and after the earthquake 100,000 people died of huger.
People
There are 400,000 people still homeless in Haiti after 3 years of the earthquake. They still have people voulenteering to help clean up and help with the people and donate food and supplies.
