Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE)

The Western Undergraduate Exchange allows students to attend out-of-state schools in western states at just 1.5x the cost of resident tuition instead of the much higher non-resident tuition. For example, if you wanted to attend Colorado State University, you could pay the WUE tuition of $18,369 per year instead of the out-of-state tuition of $28,147! Or how about paying $5,895 per year instead of $10,350 to attend the University of Hawaii Maui College? Click here for more information about the WUE program and here to browse the participating schools. Even if you're not a senior right now, this is a great time to look into the participating schools-- maybe you have more options than you think!

Scholarship tip: Banks and credit unions sometimes offer scholarships!

Some banks and credit unions offer scholarships to their members or clients! Search the name of your bank or credit union + "scholarship" to see what is available. Here are two examples from Cyprus Credit Union and Mountain America Credit Union, plus this scholarship from Wells Fargo specifically for students with disabilities.
