Our Expanded Hybrid and Reopening Plans Have Changed

At the Board of Education meeting this past Tuesday, it was announced that all K-5 buildings in Enfield Public Schools will remain in the current hybrid learning model. That means that students in Cohort A will continue to attend in-person classes on Mondays and Tuesdays, Cohort B students will attend in-person classes on Thursdays and Fridays, and all other days will follow the remote learning schedules currently in place. This includes a continuation of asynchronous remote Wednesdays for all students.

We are all hopeful that over the next few weeks we will be able to revisit our plans for an expanded hybrid learning model followed by a full reopening in the weeks after that.

Valentines Day During the Pandemic

What will it look like for our Wolfpack at EWS? Like everything else over the last ten months, Valentines Day will look different than it has in the past. Celebrations are being determined by the individual classroom teachers. Please be mindful that we cannot accept or share/exchange food items.

With the 100th day of school, St. Patrick's Day, and a multitude of other traditional celebration days just around the corner, we will continue to follow the same strict approach to health and safety in the hopes that next year we can return to established school traditions.
