It was a winter wonderland at Walden School this week! With the arrival of snow, students had a great time playing outside with their winter gear building forts and snowmen. We love the ability to get outside whenever we can, so please remember your labelled winter attire on cold and snowy days. Also, this is a great time to make sure your child has extra clothes here at school. Socks and pants are often what needs changing after a wet recess, so please send items in if needed. Lastly, if you have any size small boys sweatpants, we are looking for some extra items for our nurse's office. Thank you!

Building students’ social-emotional learning (SEL) skills is important at Walden School. As a part of the learning process, we ask our students to reflect on skills related to their own SEL and the school environment using a Panorama student survey. This survey will be administered between January 30th and February 10th. Per policy, if you would like your child to opt out of taking the survey, please contact me no later than Monday, January 30th at 8am.

Have an incoming kindergartener (or know someone who does?) The registration process for the upcoming school year is now open and the earlier we know who is coming, the better we can plan!
