The Heart

Your never-resting Heart
Your heart is an amazing organ. It pumps all the time and never stops. It pumps blood through your body to give you energy for everything you do. Your arteries bring blood to the body from the heart, veins bring blood to the heart from your body, and capillaries get glucose and oxygen to the cells and bring carbon dioxide and water away from your heart. The Heart controls all of these three blood vessels and gives your body the energy it needs.
