Miscue Analysis In Running Records - Does It Make Sense?
Does it make sense? (M- Meaning)
Ask yourself, did the meaning or the message of the text influence the error? This includes the illustrations. It is possible that the reader brought a different meaning to the author's text.
Remind/teach students the following so that they can use meaning to solve words quickly.
