Community Conversations Around Race
We are excited to announce that the third annual Community Conversations Around Race will be held virtually on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Hosted by Southridge High School, in partnership with the Office of Equity and Inclusion, this year’s event will continue to center and elevate student voices in our efforts to collaboratively develop our racial literacy.
Similar to last year’s, this year’s event aims to offer a variety of breakout sessions that highlight district and community efforts to increase our understanding of the multitudes of intersections that accompany a focus on race, racism, and antiracism. We also hope to once again center our student voices and experiences in our keynote event. Please see the "Save the Date" below and stay tuned for session information in the coming weeks.
