Frequently Asked Questions
How can I get previous test results from the old system?
- To request historical scoring reports, the Superintendent, DTC or DTA can complete a Student Data Request (SDR) form in TIDE. Please note that students must be in TIDE with their TSDS ID to request their historical records. The SDR User Guide gives detailed instructions for submitting a student data request.
How do we enroll students into a test?
- A student is eligible to take a test based on their enrolled grade level and flags selected on the student test eligibility page in TIDE. The test session ID created by the CTC, along with student first name and TSDS ID, will give the student access to the appropriate test.
How do we print out test tickets for each student?
- To print test tickets, you can select Print from Student List from the task menu. Complete the fields under the Search Students panel. The fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory. You can also select additional search fields in the Advanced Search panel. Click Search to view your results.
- Next, select the students for whom you want to print test tickets. To print test tickets for specific students, mark the checkboxes for the students you want to print. Click the Print button and select an option from the dropdown menu. A test ticket layout screen will appear. Choose a test ticket layout and the test tickets print option. When you click Print, a PDF file of the test tickets will be downloaded.
What site will the students use to test?
- To administer the field test, students will need to login using a secure browser application. Ensure the latest version of the secure browser application is installed on each device that will be used to administer the field test. For instructions, refer to the Secure Browsers webpage.
