SOARing through the School Year
Parent & Family Newsletter: Fall Edition 2022
Welcome to a New School Year!
Our Goal in Title I!
Parent & Family Engagement Workshops
Our workshops are designed to continue to build parent capacity in providing their children support in reading and math. We plan our workshops around strategies the students are taught during the school day. The workshops provide families with a better understanding of what the students are doing in school and provide parents with tools to support their children as they continue to learn at home.
The Virtual District Winter Academic Series is BACK!
Our 2nd Annual District Soaring to Success Parent Workshop
We are excited to bring back our Parent Summit again this year. We had an amazing turnout of over 80 families last year. Mark your calendar for Saturday, February 25, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. We will continue to grow our parent toolkit with sessions around understanding how to support your child with sounding out words, reading comprehension, math word problems, number strategies, and tips to continue to build your child’s self-esteem.
