Campus will look a little different on Friday, April 28, 2023 as Liholiho is hosting a special event for our preschool class that day. The event will take place in our library and part of our 8th avenue parking lot. Half of the 8th avenue parking lot will be coned off and the field will be open to parking for staff only that day.
Track Meet
On Sunday, April 16, some of our 4th and 5th grade students participated in a track meet at Kaiser High School. It was an intense competition, and our students did great! Check out some of the pics from the action below (courtsey of @freedomedia).
Big mahalo to Tom Holden, Travis Teshima, and Jasmine Calaro for coaching our students! Special thanks to Principal Otani (Kalani High School) for organizing the event, to Kaiser High School for hosting us, and to all the teachers and parents for coming!! We hope that this becomes a yearly event (though maybe earlier in the year when it's not so HOT).
Book Fair
This year's book fair will be held from May 8-May 12. We're following a similar setup to last year's fair where students will have a chance to preview books early in the week and then purchase them later in the week. Parents will be invited to campus on special after school purchase dates. More information coming soon!
E-Waste Recycling
I'm pleased to announce that Liholiho is hosting e-waste recycling on Saturday, June 17, 2023. This is a great opportunity to do some summer cleaning in a safe and environmentally conscious way!
