Chromebook Distribution and More
The first day of school is currently scheduled for the 28th. In order to prepare for that day we will be handing out Chromebooks to 1st-3rd graders on Monday, the 21st from 3:00-6:00 and Tuesday, the 22nd from 12:00-4:00. Please stop by our gym during one of these times to get materials from your child's teacher as well as check out a Chromebook.
We will be scheduling a time for you to meet your teacher virtually as well as work out any login issues to help make the first day of school as seamless as possible. Your child's teacher will be sending out an email giving you the specific information for that meeting. You should receive this no later than Monday the 21st, end of day.
Kindergarten students will keep their same appointment times and the same day of the week as previously scheduled starting the week of the 28th. For example, if your previously scheduled appointment was Monday, September 14th @ 9 then your new appointment will be Monday, September 28th @ 9. If your new time does not work for you please call the office beginning Monday the 21st.
All the information above will be tentative to air quality improvements that are expected. Please visit the district or school's website for the most current information. We also know that many of you are still recovering from the effects of the fire. Please know we are sensitive to this and ask that you communicate your individual situation to your child's teacher. If your family needs more time to transition back to your home please do not hesitate to let us know. We look forward to seeing you again.
