Celebrating Hispanic Heritage

The Thomas DREAM club wants to celebrate those in our community that identify with Hispanic heritage. Would you take a few minutes to fill out our google form and upload a photo of you or you along with your family? We are creating a space in the building to celebrate individuals.

Yearbooks and parent recognition ads are now on sale
interested in careers in the construction industry?
Are you interested in careers in the construction industry? If so please join us for an interactive construction field trip on October 19th. Students will be able to network with employers, apprenticeship programs and college representatives. There will also be hands-on activities and equipment demonstrations! Spots are limited so please visit the counseling center for a permission slip ASAP.
Rochester Area Colleges are Visiting
The Rochester Area Colleges are visiting our school on Wednesday, October 4th in the Media Center. If you would like to visit with many Rochester college representatives at one time, please sign up in your naviance account. If you can't get into your naviance account, please stop into the counseling center.
Watch your Chromebooks
The Tech Department has been seeing an increase of damage to school district chromebooks in which the trim around the chromebooks keyboard is being removed, leading to other damage. This damage isn't covered under the chromebook user agreement policy! Please help us to take great care of the devices. Thank you!
Health Exam Required
NYS Education Law requires an updated physical exam (Health Appraisal/Well-Child Exam) for school attendance for students in grades 9 and 11 and for ALL new entrants to the district. If you have not sent one in, please do so ASAP.

Capital Project Vote Coming Up

This project will affect all 11 schools with zero tax impact for district residents and aligns with the district’s ongoing commitment to providing a safe educational environment for students. Captains Breakfast
Several of the Titans JV and Varsity Team Captains came together Tuesday morning for the Fall Captains Breakfast. Our Captains had conversations about what it means to be a captain, shared experiences, had some fun and had a little breakfast.

FUN RUN
Thank you to all our Titan Athletes who supported our WCSD 4th graders with the 57th Annual Webster 4th Grade Fun Run. They ran with some, they cheered and encouraged all the 4th graders to be their best!
Girls XC & Boys XC
Compete in the MCQuaid Invitational Saturday
Girls Tennis
The girls Tennis team played Gates Monday and won 5 of the 6 courts. Cassie S, Destinee L and Ellie S won the 3 singles courts Taya M/Tess B and Gweneth T/Sienna C won 1st and 2nd doubles.
The Titans played Eastridge on Tuesday and won 4 of the 6 courts. Cassie S, Taya M and Ellie S won the 3 singles courts Gweneth T/Sienna C won the doubles match.
They played Penfield Wednesday and won 4 of 7 courts. Cassie S, Ellie S won 2 singles courts. Abby R/Destinee L, Taya M/Tess B and Gweneth Tf/Sienna C won the 3 doubles matches. 3rd singles and 4th doubles were forfeits
Thursday the Titans hosted Batavia. They lost the match 3-4.
Winners for the Titans included Cassie S 1st singles (8-0); Abby R/Destinee L 1st doubles
(8-2) ; and 2nd doubles team of Tess B/Taya M (8-2)
Boys Soccer
The Boys Soccer team played through 2 overtimes vs Penfield Tuesday evening and came away with a 0-0 draw. The defense, led by Kyle S. held off the Penfield attack for 100 minutes. Patrick Klehr recorded the shutout in goal for the Titans.
The Titans traveled to VIctor Thursday evening and played to a 1-1 draw with the Blue Devils. The Titan goal was scored by Alex M on an assist from Logan B.
Girls Soccer
The Girl's Soccer Team hosted Mercy Tuesday evening. They took a 3-1 lead into the half and looked like they had the game in hand. Goals were scored by Sophie E, Maggie A and Catherine R. Mercy came back late in the second half to tie the game at 3 with 30 seconds left in regulation. The teams went to overtime. The game was tied until one minute left in the overtime when Sophie E found the side netting giving the Titans the 4-3 win.
The Titans hosted Penfield on Wednesday following their 99 minute OT the night before. The Titans fell to the Patriots 2-1. Sophie E had the Titans loan goal of the assist from Catherne Rogers.
The titans travel to Victor Friday evening to take on the Blue Devils.
Field Hockey
The Titans beat East Irondequoit Tuesday evening 7-0. Olivia B, Kristina F, Annie S had 2 goals apiece, Kennedi S had one goal.
Thursday the Titans were on the road again facing East rochester. They won 9-2. Kristina F and Kennedi S had 3 goals each. Frankie R, Annie S and Sophia S had 1 goal a peace
The Titan Field hockey team remains undefeated.
Girl's Volleyball
It was a busy week for Titans Girls Volleyball. The Titans hosted a tough Penfield team Saturday They lost the game 0-3. Chloe S. had 1 Ace, 2 Kills, and 2 Blocks
Riley O. had 2 Aces, 2 Kills, and 1 Block.
Wednesday the Titans traveled to Churchville Chili to take on the Saints. They lost in 4 sets. Christina N had 6 kills and 3 blocks. Jolie O’ had 4 kills, 18 assists and 7 digs. Jordyn L had 1 ace and 7 digs. McKella O’ had 4 aces, 3 kills and 11 digs.
Thursday they hosted the Eagles from Irondequoit. Again they lost a close 4set game Chloe S.had 5 Aces, 8 Kills, 2 Blocks, and 12 digs. Riley O. had 5 Aces. Jolie O. had 18 Assists
Boys Volleyball
The boys traveled to Victor Tuesday evening and beat the Blue Devils 3-1. Webster 23, 31, 25, 25 - Victor 25, 29, 17, 16
Nick A had 46 assists, 5 aces; Joey P had 10 kills, 12 digs, and 4 aces; Jacob G had 15 kills and 4 blocks; Gavin T had 13 kills and 4 blocks
Tuesday evening the team traveled to Churchville chili and won the game in 3 sets. Joey P Jacob G and Ryan W lead the attack with 11,8 and 5 kills respectively. Nick A and Bodey G totaled a combined 24 assists to go with 4 Aces. The Lakers are 8-2 and ranked 2nd in Section V.
Girls Swim and Dive
The Lakers Swim team defeated HFL Thursday 117-75. Kylie W won the 200 IM and the 100 Fly with a 2:17.09 and a 1:01.91 respectively. Meghan M won the 500 Free with a time of 5:51.11. Chloe S won the 100 Free with a 1:03.82 and Zoe S was the winner in the 50 Free with a 29:93. Webster also won the 200 Medley Relay and the 200 Free relay with times of 2:04.37 and 1:47.11 respectively.

The Team hosts Brighton Friday night 9/29 7:30pm
Cheer
The Cheerleaders will be on the sideline Friday night vs Brighton 7:30pm
