Principal's Message
Good Afternoon RMS Team! We have 10 school days left before our winter break and we are going strong!!! Let me start this week’s bulletin by saying Thank You! Thank you for taking the time to reflect on our students assessment data and curriculum progress. Each meeting with ALL teams were truly uplifting and meaningful. It was evident that in our meeting that we are student centered and because of that our students are making progress. Also, it was clearly evident that each member of our team brings her/his expertise to the discussion to push us all as professionals. During our conversations, we began the process of engaging in conversations that allows for us to either change our practices or intentionally supplement what we are doing in order to help more students grow. From the very beginning of the year, I knew that we had all of the makings to make RMS a great school. Our leadership team has been able to review the evidence of our growth and we are definitely headed in the right direction. Again, thank you for a wonderful first data meeting. I appreciate your efforts on thoroughly reviewing our current status and working as a team to develop action steps to move the team forward! Our next data meeting will be Tuesday, February 11th and Thursday, February 13th. Save the date and we will outline which team will attend at specific times.
Reminders:
All Teachers w/ exception of Fine Arts- Add your proficiency data to RMS Faculty Classroom by your name.
Department Chairs will collaborate with teams to drill down on action steps to make it clear for all teams on the direction being taken.
