Most significant god in Greek mythology

Thesis Statement

In Joel Skidmore’s Mythweb.com, Zeus is the most important god in Greek Mythology that portrays an image that is supreme and strong but also helpful and kind when necessary.

Even though he was the youngest of the titans he has fought threw so much to get to where he is now. Him and his brothers decided to then divide the world into three parts and Zeus took control of the sky. Zeus is the father of many gods and goddesses. Then those kids have kids and he is like the first one to create so much.

For example, When the three gods killed their father they decided to split up the world.

“Hades got the Underworld and Zeus took the sky. Zeus also was accorded supreme authority on earth and on Mount Olympus”

This shows that Zeus is the supreme god because he clearly deserved. Zeus also just had felt like ruling the sky was his place. He saved his siblings from getting eaten and then was seen as a hero and took over the sky.

Concluding Statement

Although Zeus can portray an image that seems mean and rude, he is kind and supreme. His actions and the paths he has chosen have led him to this image.
