School Improvement Update Meeting
Reflections on the CAS Elementary Leadership Conference
- This trip helped me improve my leadership skills through guidance, communication, and listening skills.
- I really enjoyed having the experience of going to a college and learning different concepts of leadership. I think this experience will help me understand what it is like in middle school, high school, and college. This prepared us for Wamogo High School.
- It was hard. You had to depend on your team.
- I learned how to adjust to others.
Puzzles Wanted!
This month, the theme of the JMS Makerspace is Jigsaw January! If you have unwanted puzzles, any size or age level, please consider donating them to our Makerspace.
Fully-pieced puzzles are greatly appreciated. However, puzzles that may be missing some pieces are also valued, as they can be “upcycled” and used for student creations. The possibilities are endless! Thank you so much for your support.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Jennifer Fodor, Library Media Specialist
Setting Goals
The middle of the school year is a great time for families to check in with students on goals. Setting academic and personal goals helps motivate, energize, and focus students, and it is a valuable skill that will benefit learners throughout their lives. Parents can help students set and achieve these goals. Click here for details on how to help your children set and meet their goals. (source: National Association of Elementary School Principals)
