Farm
Bubble gum is made from tree resin. The farmer ships the tree resin to the factory.
Factory
At the factory many things happen. First workers pour the gum base into mixer. People add flavor and color. Next they pour Glutcose and Dextrose to sweeten. This is cooked at 243 ferinheit for 20 minutes. In this process everything melts together. The Pre-Extruoder cuts gum into slices. The slices are put into a cooling chamber for 15 minutes at 37 to 45 degrees ferinheit. Now the gum is seasoned. Sheets of gum are broken into sticks and get wrapped in alluminum and paper. The wrapped gum is now put in plastic pacs and shipped to retail outlets.
Store
Consumers buy bubble gum to chew and blow bubbles. It is sold in little boxes.
