Lions Park Paw Prints
Letter from the PTO
Dear Lions Park Families,
It is hard to believe that we are headed into winter break! The PTO has been so thrilled to have
hosted some great events over the past few months. In November, we had the Turkey Shoot which had a wonderful turn out and we were able to donate many items to the Mount Prospect food pantry. A huge thank you to Molly Wintermute and Lorilee Marling for putting this event together, and thank you to all the families who attended and volunteered at the event. We also hosted a Parent Night Out and partnered with The Kids Pantry to donate to their toy drive. Thank you to Katie Hales and Kim Lopatka for putting that evening together, and for all who attended. It was a great event!
Today, Lions Park students were treated to an in school assembly. The PTO was so excited to invite David Fisher, “The Rope Warrior” , to show off his jump roping skills and tricks for the kids. For more info, check out his website: https://www.ropewarrior.com/home.
We hope everyone has a wonderful break and we wish you a happy and healthy holiday season. The PTO is looking forward to bringing more events to Lions Park when we return in January. We look forward to sharing that information with you soon!
Our next PTO meeting will be held via zoom. We would love to have parents come and find out more about PTO related events and future volunteer opportunities.
