TIGER TALK
LPS Weekly Newsletter ~ 5/19/2023
Message From The Principal
Dear LPS families,
We are not quite ready for summer vacation yet! We still have another week with our Tigers. We are looking forward to an awesome end of our school year - learning and celebrating together! Whatever you can do to keep those routines in place and ensuring our kiddos get the sleep they need these last 4 days of school, is greatly appreciated.
I'd like to give a huge shout out to Mr. Sears, LPS PE Teacher, and Darlene Carney, PE Paraprofessional, for two fantastic Field Day events this week. We appreciate all of their hard work and planning to make these 2 days amazing for students!
Have a terrific weekend! We will see our Tigers back on Monday.
Sincerely,
Kevin Fancher

Please Complete Our Family Communication Survey
Help us improve our communication with our Loveland Tiger Families by completing a quick survey. We want to make sure the parents and guardians of our students are getting the information they need about school events. Follow this link to the survey - it should take 2-3 minutes to complete. The survey will remain open until Sunday, May 21.
Growing With The Loveland Learning Garden
Fossils in Loveland? - absolutely! Using magnifying glasses, some students are getting hands on examining common fossils found in the Cincinnati area called brachiopods, bryozoans and gastropods. Resembling shells and coral, these specimens date back over 450 million years ago to the Ordovacian period when Loveland was a shallow sea! Go on a fossil hunt in the creek beds around Loveland or try visiting Trammel Fossil Park in Sharonville to collect your own fossil treasures!
This outdoor lesson was led by Loveland Learning Garden, a nonprofit which funds and maintains a garden and hiking trail on school grounds as spaces to connect kids to nature. Bring your families to explore with us this summer! To learn about planned events like harvesting, storytime, hikes and more, follow @lovelandlearninggarden on instagram and facebook or email info@lovelandlearninggarden.org
