Message From the Principal
Fall Conferences Begin Next Week
Conferences present a wonderful opportunity for teachers and parents to sit down together to discuss academic and social progress. They are a chance for participants to ask questions, share relevant information, celebrate accomplishments, and set short and long term goals.
Thank you in advance for arriving at your student's conference on time. You may want to bring a short list of questions you intend to ask in order to use the limited time efficiently and to avoid forgetting what was on your mind prior to the conference.
Try and remember to:
Celebrate your child's efforts.
Grades belong to students, not parents. They are a means by which we can teach personal responsibility, natural consequences, and the value of hard work, good study skills, and affirmative social skills.
Stay Positive!
Thank you so much for supporting staff and student efforts.
Have a Wonderful Weekend!
Lisa Graham

Hello and welcome to the Library. My name is Sylvia Krick and I am thrilled to be the Librarian Specialist. Each class meets in the library once during the six-day rotation for 30 minutes where they will have lessons that are aligned with ACCR standards before exchanging books.
Please visit our school website for current information such as our Early and Later Gator Book Exchange times as well as the many events we will be hosting. We are always in need of volunteers in the library. If you would like to volunteer, please let me know. PTO Check A Thon
We’re almost to our goal, but we still NEED YOUR SUPPORT to meet our overall school goal!
First, we want to thank all who have supported this important event so far, but we still need help. Currently, only 421 students have registered for our Check A Thon. 281 out of 745 students have participated with a donation. Remember, everyone who registers gets a prize and classes with 75% of students registered will earn a party!
There’s still time to Register online from a phone, tablet or computer!
It’s EASY! Just 3 Simple Steps to Donation Success!
1. First Register or re-Login to your parent dashboard and complete your child’s student webpage with a picture.
2. Make an online donation using the red Donate button right away
3. Share with friends and family, they want to help. Using the share tools on your parent dashboard simply send 10-15 emails and or text messages, then share on Facebook or Twitter. This will help your child reach their goal within 24/48 hours.
The final donation date is 08/30/2019. Remember, this is our only major fundraiser this year! Thank you again for your support!

East Gate Walkers and Field Irrigation -Weekend of August 24
CTA Goodman fields are scheduled for irrigation this upcoming weekend. If your student is an east gate walker the fields may be too wet to enter campus through the gate on Monday. Students may have to walk around to the front of the school in the morning and leave via the front of the school and walk around at dismissal.
Ms. Julia will be crossing students on Bullmoose and will be able to help direct your child if needed.
