2022- 23 Staff Calendar

Specific dates/ times for summer PD are still being planned, but certificated staff should plan to be available the week of August 22. More details will be coming this spring as we work together with our bargaining teams. Our kick off for all staff will be on Monday, August 29.
Field Trips and Volunteers
We will begin allowing field trips again, as schedules and budgets allow. Please work with your principal if you would like to take your students on a field trip.
We have recently updated our procedures and timelines:

Staff are encouraged to plan ahead for field trips. Requests for overnight/ out of state trips must be made at least 6 weeks in advance. Requests for day trips must be made at least 2 weeks prior. Requests submitted with less than one week’s notice will not be approved. The new timelines will help our transportation, nurses, and food services teams plan accordingly.

We are also allowing more volunteers in our buildings, based on program needs. Reach out to your principal if you'd like to request volunteers in your classroom.
Summer Impact - Save the Date
Date: Tuesday, July 5, 2022 through Friday, July 29, 2022 (Monday through Friday)
Times: 8:30AM-11:30AM
Location: Mount Erie Elementary
Who: Students entering K through 5th grade who meet the eligibility requirements
School teams will make recommendations and families will be invited in early May 2022. In the next newsletter, families who are interested but haven’t been invited will have an opportunity to communicate interest and be on a waitlist.
Becky Clifford will be working with the MTSS teachers in collaboration with the principal and classroom teachers to recommend students for Summer Impact.
