Very Important Information for Next Year...

Changes to Residency for 2019/20:

This is the time of year we being to hear of pending moves. Please notify our Registrar, Donna Jackley, if you plan to move over the summer so we may plan accordingly. Please contact Donna Jackley at 803-547-7546 Phone or with any address or contact changes.

Returning Student Registration 2019-20:

Online student registration for the 2019-2020 academic year opened May 3 at 9 a.m. through Registration Gateway to currently enrolled Pre-K through 11th graders for the 2019/20 school year. Registration information is used by the district for planning purposes. Please follow the steps below to register your student as soon as possible.

If you recently enrolled your child in March at the kindergarten screening for the 2019/20 school year, registration is not necessary since your child is already registered for the next school year.

Please note that you should have received an email regarding student registration. This email is student specific, which means parents with multiple children will receive an email for each child with account information and registration instructions. Someone is going to win a wagon filled with summer fun valued at over $1,500! The draw will be at 10:00am on the last day of school and will be broadcast on Facebook live. Email FMESPTO@GMAIL.COM if you need more tickets. 1 for $5 or 5 for $20.

Thinking of getting involved on PTO board next year? The board will be in the cafeteria at 8:00am on Monday morning for a casual meet and greet. We will answer all your questions and help you find the perfect volunteer role for your talents and time!

News from the School Nurse:

Medication Pick up:

Parents please pick up your child’s medications in the health room no later that Noon on Wednesday, June 5th. Also check you child’s backpack for Medical Forms that will be needed for any medication that is to be administered in the health room for the 2019-2020 school year.

The 2019-2020 School Year

In preparation for next school year, you are encouraged to access the link below and complete the Google Form with information about your child. This information will be used to help the administrative team place students in their classrooms for next year. Please note, this is NOT an opportunity for you to request a specific teacher, only a chance to tell us important information pertaining to your child. The placement team will consider your information, combined with the information provided by this year's teacher and make the best possible decisions for next year. This form will close on June 6th.

From the Art Teacher (Mrs. Smith)...

I would like to sincerely thank Mrs. Thasha Glenn for coordinating the installation of over 800 works of art by our K-5 artists who did an amazing job on their art. She recruited Mrs. Goelzer and Mrs. Stover to hang all this work. They also took down and delivered a majority of the work back to the students. Mrs. Houston also helped take down the art.

It's Time for Summer Break!

It has been my absolute pleasure to serve as your principal this year and I look forward to doing the same next year, my final year at FMES. Should any concerns arise during the summer, please feel free to contact me via telephone or email. The school hours during the summer will be 7:30-4:15 Monday through Thursday.
