Reaching Out ~ April, 3, 2020
#Separatedtogether
Dear Stone Bank Students and Families:
Thanks for the many ways we all continue to support each other in this #separatedtogether time. This week, the staff created a short video to convey that collective message to our students and families. Please enjoy this tribute from the Stone Bank staff.
Additionally, here is a reminder from Dr. Krohn to complete the feedback survey sent by each grade level team this week.
Teaching and Learning Update:
Packet Pick-up: The following teachers have scheduled a pick-up of learning materials available at Stone Bank School on Monday, April 6, 9:00am-2:00pm
5K students
1st grade students
3rd grade students
Library books that need to be returned can be dropped off in the dropbox located in the SB main entrance vestibule.
Technology Safety Updates:
Families, just a reminder that school-issued Chrome books continue to be filtered by our school web filter, Securly. Personal devices, even if logged in to a student's school Google account, are not subject to this web filtering.
If not already doing so, you may choose to turn on Google's Safe Search feature on your personal device. You may also want to read more in this article from Common Sense Media. Keep in mind that no filter is perfect and the best solution is to monitor students' use of electronic devices, and have open and honest conversations.
We are in this together! We are here to support our families and our learners so please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.
GO STONE BANK!!!
