Stress Management 101
1. Get enough rest.
2. Eat enough and try to eat healthy foods - includes drinking a lot of water.
3. Manage your time...too much Candy Crush is not good. See time chart above.
4. Organize yourself.
5. Start early. You know when finals are, don't delay.
6. Remember that no one is perfect. Enjoy the ride.
Here are some great coping strategies:
BREATHE - everyone forgets this simple way to relieve stress.
EXERCISE - go out for a walk, a run, or whatever. Get active!
REST - take a nap, just sit or be still.
MUSIC - listen to positive, uplifting, or motivational.
JOURNAL - draw, write, or doodle.
COLOR - break out those crayons or colored pencils!
TALK - talk to someone about how you are feeling. It helps.
Stress management is necessary for life. We all have stress and need to work through it. Start healthy coping skills now to build good habits. See your counselor if you need additional support.

Title IX
Title IX Compliance
As part of the Diocesan Safe Environment Program, the annual safe environment training has been completed for 2019-20 with all students. For the few that missed the training, resources were sent to parents. As part of the training, students are encouraged to report incidents of harassment or sexual harassment involving a peer or adult to any administrator, counselor, teacher, or staff member. The right of confidentiality, both of the complainant and of the accused, will be respected consistent with the school’s legal obligations and the necessity to investigate allegations of misconduct and to take reasonable and appropriate action if warranted. If a student is unsure of whether to report or in need of discussing a possible incident of harassment, they are encouraged to speak with a counselor. Counselors are trained to discuss the incident and advise on as well as take the appropriate next steps. See additional reporting guidelines in the 2019-20 Student-Parent Handbook.
