National Tree Day

The day of trees

The Importance of Trees

Trees have been important to the planet for 80000 years. They produce oxygen, feed on CO2, battle soil erosion and are storm water runoff. We owe trees our existance and should repay them every year.

What is National Tree Day

Held on the last Sunday of July since 1966, organised by Planet Ark and sponsored by Toyota since 2004 National Tree Day is a day where 200000 Australians participate in tree related activities like planting trees. It gets people outside and connected with nature.
