Message from Dr. Kaminski
I cannot begin to express my gratitude to the hardest working staff first semester, who embraced a new way of learning in which your children proved to thrive. And now it is time to reflect, rest, and rejuvenate for round two. Winter break is here and the weather is showing promise of fun to be had outside while school is closed through January 2nd. Students will return January 3rd and our teachers and staff are looking forward to an an even stronger second semester of teaching and learning.
Until then, my wish for all of you is to pause, unplug, and spend time with those who bring you joy. The appreciation shown to our front office staff and classroom teachers the past several days has been overwhelming and we are thankful for such a generous community. May the feelings of the holiday season stretch on to all people we come in contact with as we remember the holidays can be a tough time for some as it is a reminder of those who are not longer with us to share in the joy.
I wish you a peaceful rest of 2016 and am hopeful of a promising 2017 ahead. Happy New Year BSE families and see you next year!
Respectfully,
Dr. Kaminski

Royals Dive Club - Come See Us In Action TOMORROW
Did you watch the Olympics this summer? Did you know that three of the men and two of the women divers on the Olympic team were from Indiana? The fact is, Indiana is a hot spot for diving and Hamilton Southeastern is one of those spots.
HSE has had several divers go on to dive in college. We currently have two collegiate level divers as coaches and we get a ton of support from a local Olympic level club in terms of facilities and coaching.
Diving is an amazing sport. It takes courage, hard work and core strengthening. It also takes a great attitude. If you think this would be good for your son or daughter, come check us out at our next meet TOMORROW (12/17) at HSE. Diving starts at 9:00am. Parents will be available for any questions you might have. See you there.
