It was so good to have four days with the students last week. We were able to get back into a routine. Now, we are working hard to review grammar and writing related skills. Please see below for what each group will be focusing on during our time together.

What are we learning this week? 16-20, 2015

Expanding English 12:25-1:15

Texts and Activities will include the following:

  1. A short text about a visit to Washington, D.C.
  2. Short texts to practice step-by-step instructions
  3. Short text to practice organizing details in a meaningful sequence


Content Objectives

I can:

  • identify signal words and phrases that indicate sequence in a text.
  • identify and support with text evidence the correct sequence of events in a text.
  • write about how to locate the correct text sequence.


Language Objectives

I can:

  • speak using complete sentences.
  • write using complete sentences.
  • listen to what my classmates say and respond appropriately.

Thursday, March 19th-Early Dismissal; Students Go Home at 10:45 a.m.
