Thank you!

Dear Favorite Fifth Graders,

How are you? Are you excited about a new school year? You did an amazing job in fourth grade. You worked so hard and learned so much. You are really going to impress your new teacher with your skills, your creative energy, your maturity, your perseverance, and your work habits. Oh yeah, and you are really funny! You are truly a-durable.

I just wanted to thank you and your parents for the generous gifts you gave me on the last day of school. Let’s start with the play. I was so surprised, that I was almost speechless. It was very clever and funny. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into creating something so memorable.

I used my gift certificate at Danger to buy a beautiful necklace that I wear frequently. It is really pretty and I have received many compliments on it. I also bought a very cool little purse. It is golden, like sunshine or sunflowers. It is canvas and washable, but looks just like leather. It is so lightweight. Perfect for summer activities.

My husband, son, daughter, and I enjoyed a very fun night out at Marche. We had a delicious dinner. Thank you so much.

I will be missing you this September. Each and every day. I will think about how lucky I was to have spent 180 days with you and I will wish we could do it all over again.

Remember to be your best self. Do a good job. Go Far. Be Star. My affection travels with you.

Much Love,

Maureen Wilson
