What was the Scientific Revolution

The Scientific Revolution was a time of intense debate between science and religion. The Scientific Revolution changed the perspective of many people in the world. Some people were excited by these new discoveries while others were scared of what they did not know and what it could do to their role in society. They began to question everything around space including the rights of kings and religious leaders to rule.

Who were the people associated with the change?

Nicolaus Copernicus he was an astronomer who argued against the Geocentric Model.

Johannes Kepler his work in astronomy further proved that the Heliocentric Theory was true.

Nicolaus Copernicus, Johannes Kepler & Galileo Galilei

How did the change impact the society at the time?

It changed the way people see science. People had this idea that the Earth was the center of the universe and that the moon, sun, & the planets revolve around the Earth. These scientist Nicolaus Copernicus, Johannes Kepler & Galileo Galilei proved that this theory was not true.

How is that change evident in today's modern society?

This change is evident in today's society, because if they didnt prove what they did, then we would still believe that the Earth was the center of the universe and we would not have discovered other moons and galaxy.
