Parents and Grandparents,

  • Will your family be celebrating a First Communion this spring? If so, please visit Mary’s Corner (in the ushers' room near the main entrance of the church). We have First Communion missals, rosaries, pins, etc. that would make wonderful gifts for that special child in your life.

upcoming Parenting Classes - 5/20 & 5/26

Hello all!

The next Parenting Class we are offering is May 20th and will focus on Boys to Men. It will be held from 7:00pm- 8:30pm at the Marshall Women’s Center. We have an excellent panel lined up and will encourage questions and conversation. Please forward to anyone you feel may benefit. We would love to have a large crowd! All parents struggle at times and it’s important for them to see that they aren’t alone. All classes are free!

(Girl Talk was cancelled due to snow and has been rescheduled for May 26.)

Please and thank you!

Library/Computer Lab Renovation - Summer 2015

St. Paul News

Spending too much time on social media sites?

How much time is too much?

Have you ever been on Facebook and realized that time has flown and you haven't completed a necessary task? Want to spend less time on social media sites? Try using the Chrome extension called Stay Focused.

Stay Focused is a Chrome extension designed to help you stop wasting time on sites like Facebook and get your work done instead. With Stay Focused installed you can set a time limit for yourself for how much cumulative time in a day that you spend on sites like Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter. Once you've used up your self-allotted time on those sites you won't be able to revisit them in that browser for 24 hours.

This extension is highly recommended to students and parents who find themselves spending more time on social media than they would like. As the end of the school year approaches and students are getting down to crunch time on big projects, Stay Focused could provide students with the gentle nudge they need to stay on track.
