BUZZING BEE MINDFULNESS EXERCISE
Today we are going to visit the Zoo and do another mindfulness exercise! We're going to visit the Buzzing Bee! This bee is going to teach us a new way to breathe that will help us to calm our bodies! To prepare, let's begin to control our breathing. Let's inhale.... And exhale. Inhale... And exhale. Take one more deep breath in and slowly let it go.
Now, as you breathe in, close your eyes. Today we will breathe like a bee. Breathe in deeply through your nose counting 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Now as you let your breathe out through your mouth, buzzzzzz Breathe in 1, 2, 3, 4,5. Breathe out buzzzzzzz. Breathe in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Breathe out buzzzzzzz. Breathe in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Breathe out buzzzzzzz. Breathe in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Breathe out buzzzzzzz. Breathe in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Breathe out buzzzzzzz.
Open your eyes and notice how your body is feeling.
