I hope you have been working to organize and clean out your email as we prepare to move to Gmail in the fall. We are hoping to have more details soon from the Technology department about the move. I will keep you posted as I hear new information.

Summer Classes from VDOE

VDOE: Intel Element Professional Development courses hosted by the VDOE will be offered for the Summer session (June 15-July 26). Educators can register for these free 6-week, online only courses by following the directions on the web page.

Registration deadline is June 6 with no exceptions.

Many of you have used Quizlet or Kahoot to have students take quizzes on a device. I stumbled upon another tool that you may want to explore. It is called Quizizz.

Grant Opportunity

The Bedford Area Education Foundation has been very generous in supporting our innovative ideas here at JFHS. The next deadline for applications is July 1st. These applications need to be signed by LeeAnn and Mr. Overstreet at the SBO. SO plan accordingly and be a detailed as possible when applying.
