Cardinal Scores

Cardinal Scores are listed on the report card. The Cardinal Score is comprised of three areas - Respect (R1), Safety (S), and Responsibility (R2). Each category is scored a 1, 2, or 3 for each class by the teacher. The Cardinal Score provides feedback on your student's overall behavior and citizenship. Students will be able to earn privileges for earning 2's and 3's while maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.0.

3 = Consistently meeting expectations

2= Sometimes / mostly meets expectations

1 = Rarely meets expectations

It is our goal that the academic grade accurately measures learning and is not impacted by behavior. Students that earn a score of 1 in any class or have a GPA of 1.99 are placed on the "No Fly" list, meaning that they must stay in their assigned study hall instead of going to the Library.
